GRACE AMACK SERVICES HELD

Florence Grace (White) Amack was born May 4, 1883, to A.J. and Rose (Lytle) White near Red Cloud, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Frank M. Amack November 25, 1903 at Red Cloud.

The family moved in 1915 to a farm four miles west of Haxtun. Her husband died October 18, 1933. She continued to live with her father on the farm until 1945 when she moved to Haxtun.

Three sons were born to this union, Donald E. of Baldwin Park, California; Paul T. of Canon City, Colorado and Delbert D. of Englewood, Colorado.

She became a member of the Church of the Brethren in 1904.

She is survived by her three sons, 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.

Mrs. Amack died in the Haxtun Hospital Sunday morning at the age of 93 years, 7 months and 8 days.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning December 15, at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of the Brethren with Rev. Roy Pfaltgraff officiating and burial following in the Haxtun Cemetery.

Organist was Mrs. Wilbur Atkins and soloist Miss Betty Sullivan and a duet by Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Switzer. Selections were "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Beyond the Sunset."

The pallbearers were Virgil Kinzie, Fred Heaston, Fred Schuman, Merl Switzer, Ernie Stryker, and Wilbur Kipp.
