Pauline Barbara Clark Jones 86, of Indianapolis, passed away October 19, 2005 of pulmonary fibrosis. She was married to William E. Jones for 67 years, whom preceded her in death in 2004. Pauline was born in Elwood, IN, but her family moved to Franklin, where she met William. They were married in 1937 and she gave birth to twin daughters in 1943, the same year her husband was drafted. During the war, she worked part-time and raised the twins. Upon William's return after the war, she became a homemaker, which she remained for the rest of her life. Pauline and William were members of the Irvington United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Norma Ochs and Saundra Cox; sister, Madaline Heche; brother, Bert Clark, Jr.; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
