Employed at VMI 1862-64 as Lt. (1862-63) and Captain, Asstistant Instructor of French & Tactics; Commanded Co. C. of the Corps of Cadets during the Battle to New Market May 15, 1864 and was seriously wounded in the head during that Battle. Signed parole June 16, 1865 at Charlottesville, Va.
