Born in Haverhill, Jennifer Lee Marcelais attended Amesbury schools and was a graduate of Newburyport High School. She attended Northern Essex Community College and received her degree from Salem State College. She was employed in web-site development, and was the owner of Souloyster Web Studios in Portsmouth. Her philosophy was . . . "Always believe that something wonderful is about to happen." . . . She loved to travel and loved history, especially cemetery archeology. She was the author of standing websites . . . gravematter.com . . . and . . . seacoastphotographs.com. She was an avid photographer and loved Portsmouth. She loved to have fun with her family and friends and adored her cats. Jenn died peacefully at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, New Hampshire, with her family at her side. A celebration for her life was held Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home in Amesbury, followed by interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Amesbury.
