ALEXANDRIA-Barbara A. (Foster) Myers, 66, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness.
She was born on January 19, 1948 in Anderson, Indiana to Frank and Thelma (Lents) Foster and has resided in the Alexandria area all of her lifetime. Barb was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School-Class of 1966. She retired in 1999 as a receptionist for Family Practice Physicians in Elwood after 10 years of employment. She was an active of member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alexandria and the St. Mary's School Guild. She was a fan of IU Basketball and the Cincinnati Reds. She has been a long time and avid fan of Alexandria Tiger athletics. However, she was the #1 fan of her grandkid's athletics and rarely missed one of their games. Barb loved her family but especially loved being a memaw.
