Born January 20, 1914 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William H. and Clara M. Robey Post.

Married Clela Gibson on October 14, 1939 in Salt Lake City.

Member LDS Church. Veteran World War II. He served with 239th Combat Engineers, U.S. Army. Retired from Clearfield Naval Supply Depot after thirty-five years of service. DeVon loved children. He was loved by all and be deeply missed.

Survived by his wife, Clela; brother, Glen R. (wife, Dellavene) Post; sister, Melba L. Post; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Bill; and sisters, Velma Hallstrom and Fern Crowther.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 1992 at 11:00 a.m., Rose Park Second Ward Chapel, 760 North 1200 West, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
