Mrs. Peiffer was born in Herndon R.D., PA, on June 13, 1913, the daughter of the late Adam and Sarah (Hain) Bahner.
She was a homemaker.
To many friends she was "Mom" and to other family members she was "Aunt Grace". She has been a member of God's Missionary Church most of her life and was a member of the Central Pennsylvania Gospel Band for a number of years. Her faith in God and her commitment to her Lord was strong and all who knew her loved her.
She was the widow of Paul D. Peiffer,who died in 1988 and her first husband, Fred G. Wiest, died in 1969.
She is survived by a sons, Marvin I. Wiest of New Haven, MI and Mark I. Wiest of Grassy Creek, NC; a sister, Mildred Kramer of Schuylkill Haven, PA; a number of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Religious service will be held at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, PA at 11 a.m., on Friday, May 5th, with Rev. Paul Miller and Rev. Albert Kehler officiating. Interment at God's Missionary Cemetery, Lykens, PA. Friends are invited to call Thursday from 7-9 p.m., at the funeral home.
