He married Betty Zwicky on May 27, 1936 in Farmington, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on June 19, 1963.
He was a lifetime resident of Ogden and had been employed as a shift foreman for the Continental Bakery Co. He was a member of the Ogden 35th LDS Ward and was an active temple attender. He loved bowling.
Surviving are his wife of Ogden; one son, Jerry E. Hart, San Diego, Calif.; two grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Henry Hart and Clyde Hart, both of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lowell (Thelma) Hillier and Mrs. Thomas (Florence) Champneys, both of Ogden.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. in the Larkin & Sons Mortuary with Bishop Richard Shupe officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment in the Washington Heights Memorial Park.
