He was a farmer and a member of the Hickory Hill Missionary Church.
Services were held Sunday afternoon at Harrison Funeral Home, with Marvin Youngblood, Alex Page, and Albert Beegle officiating. Burial was in Blanche Cemetery in Lincoln County.
Survivors are his wodow, Mrs. Mamie Mount Roden; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Maples, Columbia, Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Mary Katherine Douglas, Cleveland, Tennessee; a son, Frank Roden, Jr., Ardmore; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Owens, Elora, and Mrs. Lena Bruhn, California; a brother, Willie Roden, Murfreesboro; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
