Born in Russia, she came to the United States at 11 years of age with her family, settling in Streeter, N.D. She married John Brenneise Dec. 8, 1906 in Carmpbell County, S.D. and lived there until 1952, when they moved to Lodi.
A member of the Seventh-Day Church of God, her husband and three sons all preceded her in death.
She is survived by a brother, Emanuel Brenneise of Streeter, N.D.; three sisters, Mrs. Christina Johnson of Underwood, N.D., Mrs. Lena Stuckel of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and Mrs. Amelia Hunt of Janesville, Wis.; five grandsons, two granddaughters and 15 great-grandchildren.
