Ruth E. (Prucha) Carlson, age 94, of Two Rivers, died Monday morning, April 28, 2014 at Harmony of Two Rivers. Ruth was born May 26, 1919 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth (Mueller) Loeser.
On January 30, 1937 she married Edward L. Prucha at St. Luke Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death September 22, 1967. On June 12, 1971 she married Harold J. Carlson in Michigan.
He preceded her in death January 8, 1999. Ruth was a charter member of the Two Rivers Eagles Auxiliary. She was a member of St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills.
Survivors include one daughter: Nancy Glaser, Appleton; two sons and daughters-in-law: Edward and Sharon Prucha, Kewaunee; Thomas and Bonnie Prucha, Pensocola, FL; nine grandchildren: Michael (Lana) Glaser, Dawn (Tony) Rady, Jason (Katja) Glaser, Mark (Brenda) Prucha, Brenda (Greg) LeMay, Karen (Duane) Kinjerski, Sean (Jasmyn) Prucha, Lara Bergelin, Ty (Tami) Prucha; 20 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: LeRoy Glaser; brothers: Harold, Howard and Bob Loeser; and sisters: Esther Becker, Winifred Coenen.
Funeral services will be held at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Dennis Drury with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
