Alexis M. "Tats" Baunchalk, age 21, of Newark, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 27, 2014.

Alexis was beautiful, care free, and had a young, wild spirit. She loved life and referred to Sundays as "Sunday Fun Day". Alexis brought happiness into the lives of all who knew her. She loved doing hair and makeup for her and her friends when they would go out together. She also enjoyed four wheeling, motorcycles, fishing, shooting, and relaxing in her back yard with a bonfire.

Alexis will be dearly missed by her parents, James and Toni Baunchalk ; brother, Tyler J. Baunchalk; sister, Stevi Baunchalk (fiancé Johnny "Rotten"); her niece who she loved and cherished very much, Nadia, who was a mini me of her aunt LaLa; and many other loving family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Road, Newark, DE 19702. A second visitation will be held the following morning at the funeral home from 9:30-11:00 am. A service in celebration of Alexis' life will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
