Greenwood, Dec 16 -- A H Ariail, 79, died at his home here late yesterday after an illness of several days, of pneumonia. Funeral services were conducted at Troy Methodist church this afternoon by the Rev J A Bledsoe of McCormick and the Rev William B Garrett of Greenwood. Interment followed in the Troy cemetery.

Mr Ariail is survived by his widow, who was Miss Mary Caldwell of Troy, and the following children: Clyde Ariail, Greensboro, NC, Charles Ariail, Greenwood; H Wallace Ariail, Greenville; Mrs Lou Henderson and Misses Lillian and Effie Ariail, Greenwood, and the following children by his first marriage: H O Ariail, Greenville; Albert Harrison Ariial, Jr, Parr; W H Ariail, Columbus, Ga; J L Ariail, Casma, NC; R L Ariail, Rutherfordton, NC; and Mrs Daisy James, High Point, NC. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs Lizzie Welborn and Mrs George Mauldin, Greenville, and one brother, the Rev J W Ariail, Meggetts.
