Mrs. M. E. Corner Died Today At Her Home in Ottumwa, Ia., -- Burial Here.
Mrs. M. E. Corner, a former resident of this city, and widow of J. W. Corner who died here eight or ten years ago, passed away at the home of one of her daughters in Ottumwa, Ia., yesterday morning.
The remains will be brought to this city and laid to rest at 3:30 this afternoon beside Mrs. Corner's husband in Oakland Cemetery. Funeral services will be held from the residence of a daughter, Mrs. C. W. Cotter, 498 Promenade avenue, conducted by Rev. Zentz.
Mrs. Corner is survived by four daughters, they being Mrs. C. W. Cotter, of Moberly; Mrs. J. K. Dysart and Mrs. W. E. Halton of Ottumwa, Ia., and Mrs. J. C. Cadwallader of Chicago, Ill. Two sons, Charles and Rolla Corner are also left to mourn her loss.
