Obituary:
MeSera, Frank Keller and Earl Andrews, of Independence, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chesebro, and Mrs. Charles church, of Waterloo, were called here last week by the death of their aunt Mrs. Paul Stevens.
Mrs. Paul Stevens, who died at her home in Minnesota, was brought here last week for burial. The funeral was held Thursday at 2 o'clock at the Christian church being conducted by Rev. John McKee, of Walker. Interment was made in the Troy Mills cemetery.


Obituary:
Rachel Ann Stevens was born near Marion, Iowa, July 4th, 1851, and departed this life January 28, 1915, Sauk Centre, Minnesota, at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 24 days. August 16, 1876, she was united in marriage to Paul Stevens. To this union four children were born, three sons and one daughter. One son died at the age of twelve. The other children, Mrs. Bertie Holman of Kailspell, Minnesota, Elra and Lee, both of Sauk Centre, Minnesota, are still living. Only last October she with her husband and son Elra and family moved to their new home in Minnesota which she was only permitted to enjoy about four short months.
About twenty-one years ago she gave her heart to the Lord and has since that time rendered un to Him a most consecrated service. She leaves to mourn her departure, a husband, three children and eight grandchildren besides four sisters, two brothers and a host of friends.
Her son Elra lost his wife, just one month before the time of her death, leaving him with three small children.
