Florence G. Lowman
CONCORDIA - Florence G. Lowman, 92, Concordia, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 1990, at St. Joseph Hospital, Concordia. Mrs. Lowman was born Florence Lewis on Nov. 30, 1897, at Whitesville, Mo. She lived in Concordia until 1946, when she moved to California. She returned to Concordia in 1988. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and World War I Barracks Auxiliary, all of Concordia.
Her husband, Willard, died in 1976.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Harold and John.
Survivors included four daughters, Betty Robison of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Dorothy Swenson of Concordia, Charlotte Kruis of Florida and Judith Acquistapace of Alameda, Calif.; four sons, Arthur of Mission Viejo, Calif., Richard of Downey, Calif., Donald of Sacramento, Calif., and Willard of Orange Springs, Fla.; 31 grandchildren; and 51 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church, Concordia, the Rev. Don Blanton officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Joseph Care Home.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.
