Sucillia Strauss, widow of Adam Strauss, passed away in her late residence, 121 Main St., Hellertown, this morning at 5:45 o'clock of a complication of diseases, due to advanced age. She was born in Springfield Township, Bucks County, December 20, 1855, and was a daughter of the late William and Sarah (Hinkle) Grube age 77 years 4 months and 21 days. She is survived by three sons, Wallace, Titus of Hellertown, and Granville, residing with the deceased; one daughter, Mrs. Clinton Pearson, of Hellertown; one brother A. Grube of Winslow, Arkansas. (My Note: The brother's name in Winslow, Arkansas was Enos Hinkle Grube not A. Grube). Thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at the late home, Sunday afternoon, at 2:00 o'clock, further services in Christ Union Church at 2:15 o'clock. Interment will follow in Hellertown Union Cemetery.
