Ellen Dryden Jones, age 90, of Bristol , Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at NHC of Bristol, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents William Gordon and Amanda Freelove Hancock Pauley, husbands Paul Dryden and George Wallace Jones, brothers Perry and Charlie Pauley, sisters Clara Gambrel, Anna Belle Harold, and Edith Kitts.
Survivors include:
Daughters – Ellen Louise Wyatt and husband Paul of Aiken, SC, Bobbie Lee Pendergrass and husband Carl, Jr. of Hillsville, VA, Bess Frances Jones of Bristol, VA
Son – Alfred Gordon Dryden and wife Edna of Bristol, TN
Sister – Ruth Richardson of Bland, VA
Step-Daughters – Nancy Slusher, Hilda Bowers, and Judy Ruth Bolling all of Bristol, TN
Eight Grandchildren, Fourteen Great Grandchildren, Three Great Great Grandchildren
Several Step Grandchildren and Step Great Grandchildren

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 2 pm in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with VHCF assistant pastor Steve Robinson officiating.
Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
