The Reedley Exponent, Saturday, May 4, 2006. HELEN P. REID, Helen Reid was born in Rhome, Texas on June 24, 1922, and died on April 28 at the age of 83. Mrs. Reid was presently residing in Squaw Valley. Helen moved to San Diego in 1931 where she and her husband owned and operated the Reid Grocery Store. Her family move to Idaho, and ranched there for about 14 years. She came to the Reedley area in 1968. She later went into real estate sales. Mrs. Reid is preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 1977. Surviving are her sons Larry Reid and his wife Sheila, Roger Reid and his wife Marilyn all of Squaw Valley, grandchildren Angie Reid-Mills, Terry Reid, and Irene Williams, and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral Services were held at Cairns Funeral Home on May 2 followed by interment at Reedley Cemetery.
