TUSCALOOSA | Addie Mae Traweek, age 86, of Tuscaloosa, died April 26, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. George Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will tonight, April 28, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Traweek; parents; and brother.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty Channell (Truman), Pat Lane (Joe), Margaret Livingston (John), and Kathy Traweek; sisters, Ann Taylor, Mauline Colburn, and Claudine Jackson; three grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was a lifetime resident of Tuscaloosa County.
Pallbearers will be Tina Ingram, Payton Ingram, Matthew Livingston, Rodney Colburn, Tony Colburn, and James Hoggle.
Honorary pallbearers are Morning Pointe Assisted Living and her caregivers, and Weatherby Drive residents.
