BAUDOUIN Lawrence Baudouin, Sr., age 73, a native of Hahnville and resident of Luling, went to heaven on April 25, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Betty Friloux Baudouin and three children, Lawrence "L.J." Baudouin, Jr. (Andrea), Cindy Baudouin Cousins (Randy) and April Baudouin Walker (Jerry). Also survived by ten grandchildren, Michael Cousins (Katie), Melissa Cousins, Clark Cousins, Patrick Lawrence Cousins, Cameron Cousins, Ashley Baudouin, Danielle Baudouin, Jason Baudouin, Derek Walker, and Taylor Walker. Brother of Donald, Milton, John, Lorraine Baudouin, Merriel Estay, Noelie LeBlanc, Dorothy Borne, Thelma Nicholas, and the late Victor, Herman, Edwin Jr., and Bernice Travassos. Son of the late Edwin Sr. and Noelie Champagne Baudouin. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He worked at Winn-Dixie as a market manager for 38 years. As a hobby, he enjoyed woodworking, camping, and travel, and was an avid Saints fan. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from Our Lady of the Holy Rosary on Tuesday Morning, April 29, 2014 at 11:00. Visitation will begin at 10:00 at church. A wake will be held on Monday Evening at Westside LEITZ-EAGAN, Marrero, from 5:00 until 9:00. Interment will follow in St. Charles Mausoleum, Luling. In lieu of flowers, Masses or donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are preferred. An online guestbook is available at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
