NEWPORT NEWS - Robert "Bobby" Lee Coltrane, 73, died on Friday, April 4, 2014. He was born in Elkin, North Carolina, on April 18, 1940.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, C.J. and Reba Coltrane, and his brother, Ronald James Coltrane.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Jerry Lafon of Lynchburg, VA.; nieces, Susan Ore of Forest, VA, and Mechelle Lafon and Bethany Dancey, both of Richmond, VA; great nephews, Collin, Samuel, Nathan, and William Ore, all of Forest, VA, and Nicholas and Alexander Dancey, both of Richmond, VA; and a great-niece, Anastasia Dancey, of Richmond, VA.
Bobby was a member of Open Door Baptist Church.
There will be a graveside service at 3pm on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Peninsula Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Weymouth Funeral Home.
