A 1954 graduate of Lodi Union High School, Don was employed by General Mills then many years as a truck driver for Stokely Van Camp and in later years he retired as a longtime commercial construction superintendent with Diede Construction. After retirement he enjoyed meeting the challenges of various building projects for his friends. But his passion was golfing. He loved his family and his many friends and knew the Lord.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years; his three sons; one daughter; brother, Calvin Adolf (Ramona); sister, Goldie Lehman; brother-in-law, Ed Horst; sister-in-law, Florence Adolf; 10 grandchildren and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and many good friends.
Don was preceded in death by a son, Touch Adolf and a daughter, Doni Kreiter, siblings, Art Adolf, Ervin Adolf and Jennie Lehmann.
