Mrs. Eliza Doolittle
Mrs. Eliza Licering Doolittle, aged 85 years, who had made her home with Mrs. Martha Fuller, 142 Pearl street, for the past two years, died this morning at 10 o'clock at the Bath Hospital following an illness of about a year brought about by her debilities of old age. Mrs. Doolittle bad been confined to the hospital for the past 10 days.
Mrs. Doolittle was born in Blossburg, Pa., and spent her early life there. She was married when a young woman to William Doolittle, a New York Central Railroad conductor, who died 30 years ago of Injuries sustained in an accident at the local New York Central station.
Mrs. Doolittle spent practically her entire life in this city, where she had host of friends. She was a member of the Grace Methodist Episcopal Church.
Surviving are one grandson, Robert Doolittle, of Syracuse, and one niece, Mrs. Jacob Mosher, of Elmira.
