"Bob" was born in Kanab, Utah to Robert Franklin and Elda Adams Burch. Married Jeannine Hatton on October 8, 1955.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years; two daughters and their husbands, "Bobbi" and Jerry Anthony; and "Jami" & Kevin Lavery; granddaughters: "His Little Doll", J. Nickole; and his "Little Bumblebee", Kylee Makell; mother-in-law, Clara Rolfe; brothers, Neil, Ralph, Eldon, Joe, and Dan; sisters, Darlene, Bonnie, and Yvonne. There are many special aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who will truly miss their Uncle Bob. And now, he is once again with his son, Kyle.
"You've touched so many lives in so many different ways. In your 42 years of trucking, in your horses and horseplay. But none so much as being a husband, father, and grandpa."
"My Darling, there just aren't enough words to say what you were to me.... What says it best is, 'You were my everything.' Our memories I will carry in my heart forever. Till we meet again! Thank you!"
"Dad, as Jami and I were growing up, you taught us to always "Run for the Roses"; you shared and encouraged our dreams and made them yours as well. Nothing was ever impossible and you were always there to help. When we met and married 'the other' men in our lives, you never felt like you lost your 'girls', but rather you gained two sons. Above all else, you taught us all the meaning of unconditional love."
"Grandpa, we lived our lives for you and you lived for us. You showed us so much in such a short time. We will always love you!"
Funeral services Tuesday, August 3, at 1 p.m., Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, where friends may call Monday evening, 7-9 pm only.
