"DEATH AT WELLSVILLE OF WOMAN RELATED IN WAVERLY AND ATHENS.
"Wellsville, N.Y., Jan. 6, - Mrs. Cecilia Dowdney, wife of H. W. Dowdney, died at her home on Stevens street, early yesterday monrning, after being in ill health for a year past. Deceased had been a well known resident of Wellsville for the past twenty-five years. She is survived by her husband and one sone, Bruce Ackley, living at home; also two sisters, Mrs. Sara n. Whittaker, of Waverly, and Mrs. Rebbecca Walters, of Athens, Pa., and a brother, D. J. Tillman, of Earlville, Ill."
