- He was born in Charleroi, Aug. 25, 1922, a son of the late Joseph and Jennie Gardini Celaschi.
- Mr. Celaschi was a graduate of Charleroi High School, class of 1940, and a graduate of Temple University.
- He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946, as a Motor Machinist's Mate Third Class.
- Mr. Celaschi retired from Aero Trucking Inc. of Monroeville, where he worked as a traffic manager.
- Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Emme Lou Houser Celaschi; a daughter, Mrs. John (Carol) Baileys of Allentown; two sisters, Mrs. Dolores Bartolozzi and Mrs. Bee Sarber, both of Charleroi; three grandchildren, Cherie, Cliff and Ryan Baileys; and a step-granddaughter, Rebecca Baileys.
- In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Celaschi; a sister, Mary Raisbeck.
- Friends will be received in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc., 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
