Mrs. Bork enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. she also enjoyed her flowers, gardening, Saturday night drives and was an avid fishing person.
Ethel died January 9, 2001, at the Bethany Home. She is survived by her son, Edwin Otto Bork of Alexandria; sister, Hilda (Jern) Jacobson; daughters-in-law, Marlyn (Frey) Dehnke of Alexandria; Anna Mae (Kalgard) Bork of Alexandria; sister-in-law Hazel (Bork) Wagoner of Rose Holt, South Dakota; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held January 12, 2001 at the First Lutheran Church in Alexandria with Rev. John Peshek officiating. Pallbearers were Tom Bork, Cynthia Bork, Brad Schmidt, David Dehnke, Troy Hocum and Tony Hocum. Interment was at the East Moe Cemetery in Moe Township. Services were directed by Petermeier's Alexandria Funeral Care and Cremation Service.
