Services for Eric "Swede" Wandin, 91, of Ennoble Manor Care Center, formerly of 1437 Maple St., will be at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Mueller Memorial Chapel in Linwood Cemetery.
Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Egelhof-Casper-Strueber Funeral Home, 1145 Locust St.
Mr. Wandin worked at the former Dubuque Packing Co. for 34 years, retiring in 1966. He worked as a guard at the Dubuque Packing Co. just before his retirement.
He was born on Jan. 24, 1904, in Marrillan, Wis., son of John and Anna Wandin. He died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 1995, at The Finley Hospital.
He married Hazel Homis on April 4, 1936, in Dubuque.
He was a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 150A. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, gardening and playing cards.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel; a sister-in-law, Beatrice Wandin, of Ironwood, Mich; and nieces and nephews.
