WILLIAM NEWMAN, 91, of Thonotosassa died Wednesday. A native of St. Petersburg, he was a lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area. He was a retired auto mechanic with Chrysler and Christian. He is survived by four nephews, Lawrence St. Amant of Dover, Jack St. Amant of Seffner, Robert St. Amant of Lithia and Alfred St. Amant of Spring Hill; and three nieces, Rosalie Garofali of Livonia, Mich., Mary F. Wilson of Zephyrhills and Edith Tobul of North Madison, Ohio.
