Arra E. Bell, 93, of Hendersonville, died on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the Elizabeth House. A native and life long resident of Henderson County she was born on April 16, 1920 to the late William B. Bell and Clara Heatherly Bell. She was also preceded in death by her brother Rudolph Bell and his wife Julia.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, East Flat Rock.

She is survived by her step-children, Ben Maultsby and his wife Ginger of Hendersonville; their son, Chad Maultsby of McKinney, TX; Terry Maultsby and his wife, Faith of Asheville, their daughter, Samantha; Debbie Austin and her husband, Andy of Dana, their children, Holly Austin, Patricia Seacord and her husband, Jimmy of Boiling Spring, SC; Holly’s children Michael and Christian; Patricia’s children, Tyler and Dalton. She is also survived by her nephew, Gary Bell and his wife, Dianne of Orlando, FL; her niece Pam Tankersley and her husband, David of Flat Rock; her great- nephew, Shawn Bell; her great-nieces, Jennifer Brummels and her husband, Eric, Emily Bell; and her great-great nieces, Madalyn Nolli and Kailey Brummels all of Orlando, FL.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Shepherd Memorial Park with Pastor Brent Thomas and Reverend Jeff Neelands officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, July 5, 2013 at the funeral home.
