HOMER — Leonard E. Adams, 70, of 6197 W. Scott Road, died Thursday at his home. Mr. Adams was a native of Cortland and was a lifelong resident of the Cortland area. The self-employed dairy farmer at- tended Moravia School. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a founding member of the Scott Sportsman's Club and had served as a member of the Scott Town Board since 1988. He was a member of the Homer Grange, Cortland County Farm Bureau and was a committeeman with Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Cutler Adams; three sons, Kirk and Cody both of Homer and Jesse of Salisbury, Md.; a brother, Gerald W. of Kelloggsville; a sister, Clara Hill of Groton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be at 1 p.m. Mon- day at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home Inc. with the Rev. Charles Hakes officiating. Interment will be in Scott Union Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral homer 5016 N. Main St. Contributions may be made to the Scott United Methodist Church care of Linda Robisori,.
