Daughter of Charles W (aka Lemuel Borden King) and Lizzie B (Small) Hilton. Married Joseph Benjamin Abbott on 4 Sept 1890 in Auburn, ME. Her son Leon Eugene was killed in action in France during WWI. After the war Annie went to France in May 1931 to visit her son's final resting place. She returned to New York aboard the S.S. President Harding with about 125 other mothers and widows of servicemen who died during WWI. The trip was part of the US War Department's Mother and Widows Pilgrimage program that paid for her trip overseas. According to her Mass death record she was buried in Harmony Cemetery.
