. Judith Grantham Philen, age 67, of Monroeville, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Mobile Infirmary Hospital. Mrs. Philen was a graduate of Murphy High School, Troy State University, and the University of Alabama. She was a high school teacher and a member of Monroeville First Baptist Church. Preceding Mrs. Philen in death were her parents Thomas Ryan Grantham and Lena Luker Grantham. She is survived by her husband, Ed Philen of Monroeville; her daughter Sherrie (Tim) McKenzie of Monroeville, her brothers Andy Grantham of Mobile and Jimmy Grantham of Theodore; and two grandsons: Gus & Noah McKenzie of Monroeville. Visitation will be 11:00-1:00 Friday, March 23 at Monroeville First Baptist Church. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 with Rev. Micah Gandy officiating. Burial will follow at Pineville Cemetery.
