DALLASTOWN Arthur C. Waltemyer of Dallastown entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 21, 2014, at his residence at the age of 75. He was the husband of Phyllis D. (Fink) Waltemyer of Dallastown, who he married in 1961. He was born in North Hopewell Twp. on January 25, 1939, and was the son of the late Elmer and Grace Irene (Lutz) Waltemyer. Arthur was a mason at Rhodes and Grove and Curtis Hoffman for 30 years. He also worked in maintenance for Tighe Industries prior to his retirement in 2004. Surviving besides his wife, Phyllis, are one son, Jeff Waltemyer and wife Mary of York; two daughters, Jane Zeigler and Jen Fake and husband Joe, both of York; three grandchildren, Andrew Zeigler, Kevin Zeigler, and Jeron Fake; four great-grandchildren; a step brother, Titus Waltemyer of Felton; and nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held Friday, April 25, 2014 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise for Arthur will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Steven C. Almquist of Living Word Community Church in Red Lion will officiate. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Arthur was a hard worker his entire life. He enjoyed camping, but most of all loved spending time with his family. www.BurgFuneralHome.com
