Obituary
Iola Fay STANLEY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.C. STANLEY, was born at Hubbard, Iowa, July 16, 1891, and departed this life at her home in Tingley, Iowa, March 22, 1938, at the age of 46 years, 8 months and 16 days.
She came with her parents to Tingley when she was 9 years old, and practically her entire life has been spent here. She was reared in the Friends church but united with the Disciples of Christ in 1927 from which she has remained a member and faithful worker.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and the W.C.T.U. and as long as her health permitted she was an ardent worker in these organizations.
She is survived by her father and mother, two sisters, Mrs. Arbie GARLAND of Tingley, and Mrs. Bertha HAMLIN of Lincoln, Neb., and three brothers, Harvey of Joice, Iowa, Oscar of Ferdeg, Mont., and Leland of Chicago, California., a number of nieces and nephews and distant relatives, and a host of friends.
She was a very useful worker in the church and made her influence felt, especially in the W.C.T.U. The home will be saddened by the vacancy occasioned by her going. But she has passed peacefully to the crowning of a beautiful life.

Divorced 18 May 1920
