"Theodore Abel, Sperry Retiree
Theodore L. Able, 73, a retired Sperry New Holland staff assistant, died about 4:30 p.m. Thursday at his home after an illness of about six months.

He was a Sperry New Holland staff assistant for 30 years. Previously he worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue.

He was the husband of Gloria Jean Bradley Abel. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Theodore Helb and Katherine Frank Abel.

He belonged to the Artisans Order of Columbia, Assembly 20. and was a member of the Conestoga Country Club.

He was a former member of the Lancaster Chapter of the National Office Management Association. He also was chairman of the organization's publicity department and the editor of its publication, the Nomagram.

He was a former member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Columbia.

Surviving besides his wife, are a sister, Evelyn M., Lancaster, and a brother, Harold M., Columbia."
