Myrtle B. Runnels, 89, a retiree, of Mendenhall died June 17, 2004, at Bedford Care Home. Services were conducted June 19 from the chapel of Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. Interment was in Jupiter Baptist Church Cemetery, D'Lo. Mrs. Runnels is survived by a son, Robert H. Runnels of Madison, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Runnels.
