She was born on July 20, 1925 in Russellville, AR, to Floyd and Ocia (Burris) Ashmore.
She was the widow of Bobby Joe Roderick. Mrs. Roderick was an Executive Secretary with Continental Telephone Company and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Baker, Turnbow, Ivey and Friendship Sunday School Class. She was also a past member of the Russellville Business and Professional Womens Club.
Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Rick and Holly Roderick of Cabot; two grandsons, Chrisopher Roderick of Russellville, Steven Roderick of Cabot.
Her funeral service was on Wednesday, October 2, 2002 at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church officiated by Dr. Steve Mosley.
Burial was in THE OPEN BIBLE SECTION of Rest Haven Memorial Park at Russellville, AR.
Under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
