Wife of Jean Baptiste Barras dit leBlond
St. Francis 1-206
Vol. 1b, p.141
NOTE: There are only two known family graves remaining at St. Francis of Pointe Coupee Church and Cemetery: the Labatut tomb and the Morrison plot. The church and many graves washed away with the Mississippi River years ago. All other remains (both with and without markers) were transferred to St. Mary's Cemetery in New Roads around the beginning of the 1900's. The surviving markers were also transferred at that time, and these may be found listed with the St. Mary's Cemetery headstone transcripts for Pointe Coupee Parish.
