Perry E. Wright

Perry E. Wright, 45, of the Newell Road, Chester, died at 11 Sunday night at the Ohio Valley General Hospital, Wheeling. He had been ill three months and in the hospital most of that time. Mr. Wright was born in Hookstown May 28, 1905, and spent most of his lifetime in the Chester area. He worked about 20 years for the Ohio Bell Telephone Co. and became electrician for the Homer Laughlin China Co. about eight years ago. He was a member of the National Brotherhood of Operative Potters and St. John's Lutheran Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Margaret Goppert Wright; a daughter, Mrs. Sarah Marton of Stockdale, Calif.; a son, Perry Wright Jr. at home; three brothers, Charles Wright of Georgetown, John Wright of Hookstown, and George Wright of East Liverpool; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Brookes of Georgetown, and two grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 at the Arner Chapel in Chester by Rev. Wilbert T. Wilson of St. John's church, assisted by Rev. J. T. Atkinson, of the Chester Free Methodist Church. Place of burial is undecided. Friends may call at the Arner Chapel.
