Robert Zelmer 'Bob' McClendon was the youngest child of Lewis Arthur McClendon and Francis Lavona 'Fannie' Fryer, he was born and raised in Oklahoma where he married Geneva Jean Marlin, 21 OCT 1933. They moved to Fresno in the fall of 1943, when their fourth child Barbara was just an infant. Bob worked in construction; his oldest two sons followed in his footsteps. Bob and Geneva had six children. Bobby Jean McClendon-Hefley, Robert Louis McClendon, Roy Gail McClendon, Barbara Ann McClendon-Patterson, Beverley Lynn McClendon-Gilstrap and Randy Eugene McClendon. After Bob pasted away Geneva moved with her youngest two children, Bev and Randy, to Alma, AR where her daughters, Bobby Jean and Barbara along with their families already lived.

Geneva is interned in Evergreen Cemetery, Alma, Crawford, Arkansas. With a memorial to Bob on her headstone.
