He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Elizabeth Henson, in 1993.
He was employed by Fairchild Aircraft, retiring in 1976. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, receiving The Soldiers Medal, Good Conduct Medal, European, African, Middle Eastern Service Medal and World War II Victory Medal. He was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of AMVETS Post 10, Morris Frock Post 42 American Legion and American Pool Association.
He is survived by a son, Morris F. Henson of Hagerstown; three grandchildren, Shelly R. Lesher and Mellanie B. Evans, both of Smithsburg, and Marcy J. Mann of Hagerstown; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Services were held at the Virginia Avenue Church of God, Hagerstown; entombment was in Rose Hill Cemetery Mausoleum.
