Lorraine Flossie Gray Richmond

Born October 15, 1921 in Salt Lake City to Robert Arthur and Flossie Ringwood Gray. Died at home Feb 23, 2002.

Married Kimball Curtis Richmond Dec 28, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Her dear sweetheart Kim, left this earth to prepare a place for his "Rainie" Jan 16, 1974. After 28 years of separation she is once more at his side. Their children, Robert C. and Dana Richmond, Salt Lake, Mark Kimball Richmond, Chinle, AZ, Gayla Jean and Les Noll, North Olmsted, OH, Linda Lee and Michael Clapier, Salt Lake, Bryan John and Marty Richmond, Salt Lake; 21 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two babies yet to be born say, "Thank you, Mom! Survived by her sister, Marilyn (Jim) Millward, St. George, UT; sisters in love, Carol Gray, Salt Lake, Phyllis Duncan, Salt Lake, Mary Nielsen, Provo, Virginia McDowell, Hooper, UT; and brother-in-law, Harold Richmond. Preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Gray Neff; and brothers, David Gray, Bobbie Gray.

For more than 40 years Lorraine's clear strong soprano voice praised her Heavenly Father as a member of the Shubert Singers and featured soloist throughout the valley.

Her sweet smile and gentle spirit is our loss and heaven's gain.

The family is grateful to Margarita, Francisca, Carla for helping with loving care.

Funeral: Wed. Feb 27, 1 p.m., LDS Ward chapel, 3070 Nila Way (4140 S). Viewing, same location, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Viewing Tues. 7-9 p.m., Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Dr.
