Ralph P. McCluskey

Ralph P. McCluskey, 70, of Elaine Dr., passed away Friday, March 4, at his residence. He was a carpenter contractor for 30 years, and retired as the maintenance supervisor
at Sawicki Realty where he also was a licensed realtor. He was a member of the American Legion Post #646, Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association, Experimental Aviation Association, a Master Mason of the S.L. Collins Lodge #396, American Boat Association. He was a former Deacon and usher at First Baptist Church, former owner of Airport Construction and Gibraltar Homes, he built and raced inboard hydro planes, an avid hunter and fisherman, he also built house boats and did custom building in the 1970's.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; daughters, Judy Jaquay, and Kathleen (Bruce) Martin; 5 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; 3 step-children, Jeff (Debra) VanDorp, Chris (Mark) Smith and Jennifer (Herschel) Bentley; 10 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mildred; and a step-daughter, Pamela VanDorp.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Ave., where friends are invited to call from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial
contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the donor's choice.
