Marguerite Steiner Habegger, 89, of Fort Wayne, who taught piano at Fort Wayne Bible College for 10 years, died Wednesday, July 21, 1999, at Riverbend Health Care Center.

The Pandora, Ohio, native also taught privately for 50 years, loved music and gardening and was a member of First Missionary Church.

Surviving are her husband, the Rev. Tillman[Habegger]; daughters Carol Ringenberg of Fort Wayne and Barbara Steiner-Renaldo of Arvada, Colo.; stepdaughters Alice Berryman of Grover Hill, Ohio, and Virginia Habegger of Fort Wayne; and five grandchildren.

Her first husband, Oliver E. Steiner, preceded her in death.

Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at First Missionary Church, 701 W. Rudisill Blvd., with calling one hour before services. Calling is also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials are to the church or Taylor University, Fort Wayne.
