Mary McLeod Willis Fulk, 103, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Hospice of the Piedmont. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 16, at the chapel of Cumby Funeral Home on Eastchester. The family will receive visitors Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:30 pm at Cumby. Interment will follow funeral services at Floral Garden Memorial Park. Mary was born in High Point on February 15, 1911, to Eli Stanley and Rebecca Elizabeth Riley McLeod. She was preceded in death by her first husband William Jack Willis in 1960, her second husband K. Herman Fulk in 1993 and her granddaughter Kristen Leigh Willis in 1982. Surviving are daughter Betty King (Lewis) of Alabaster, AL, and sons William Jack Willis(Judy Chostner) of Raleigh and Jerry Willis(Jane Ferguson) of High Point. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of the Piedmont.
