Mrs. Margaret M. Riley, 80, of 2421 20th Ave., Rock Island, died at 11 last night in St. Anthony's Hospital following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 Saturday afternoon in the Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island, with the Rev. Fred J. Rolf of Rock Island, officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Rock Island.
Friends may call after 2 tomorrow afternoon at the funeral home.
Mrs. Riley was born Aug. 12, 1888 in Rock Island, a daughter of Robert and Della Moscow McQuaid. She received her education in Rock Island schools and was a life resident.
She was married to Harold Beard in 1908 in Davenport. He died in 1934. She later was married to Edward W. Riley, June 5, 1937, in Palmyra, Mo.
Surviving are the widower; a son, Kenneth Beard of Rock Island; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Larson, Mrs. Marian York, and Mrs. Iona Arnoe, all of Rock Island; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert McQuaid of Denver, Colo., and James McQuaid of Savanna, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Julia Yeager of California.
She also was preceded in death by three sisters.

Miss Margaret McQuaid, aged 20, and Harrold H. Beard, aged 19, both of this city, were married by Justice Louis E. Roddewig at his office in Davenport Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Beard was accompanied by his mother who gave her consent to the marriage.
