Rites honoring the memory of Mrs. Izora Readhimer, 76, widow of J. R. Readhimer, will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in the Blackburn-Shaw Memorial Chapel.

The Rev. W. S. Sibley, retired Baptist minister, will officiate. He will be assisted by the Rev. Sam D. Smith, pastor of Summit Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Readhimer was a member.

Serving as pallbearers will be A. C. Coker, James Bailey, H. F. Gilbreath, Lowell Jarrett, Harold Griffith and Alvin Tucker. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Readhimer, who home was at 304 Alabama, died yesterday at 12:15 a.m. in Northwest Texas Hospital following an illness of several years.

She had lived in Amarillof about 40 years, coming here from Floyd County.

She was born Oct. 10, 1879, in Minden, La., and was married to Mr. Readhimer on Sept. 1, 1901. He died Feb. 27, 1951.

Mrs. Readhimer is survived by three sons, V. A. Readhimer of Amarillo, E. F. Readhimer of Bovina and L. M. Readhimer of Lockney; a daughter, Mrs. Grace Cox of Amarillo, and a brother, Phillip Brantley of Arcadia, La.
