Jean H. Glude, a longtime resident of Seattle, died August 5, 1991 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She was born to Lee Roy and Vera Emma (Buffum) Harrison on January 15, 1921 in East Sound, Orcas Island, San Juan County, Washington. She was educated in schools in Bremerton, graduating in 1939. She continued her education in Seattle and worked for an accountant in Bremerton. She married John Glude in 1940.

She was active in Children's Orthopedic Hospital Guild, the Seattle chapter of P. E. O., and the Eastern Star. She served as Vice President and secretary /treasurer of Glude Aquaculture Consultants, Inc., traveling extensively throughout the United States and Europe.

She is survived by her husband, John; three children: Nancy Kelly, Terry Glude, and William (Bill) Glude; two brothers: Earl Harrison of Seattle and Howard Harrison of Slidell, LA; one sister: Lois Williamson of Bremerton; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
